This is the resin I use 99.9% of the time. It is great for all casting projects with flowers - it cures slowly enough that it does not burn the flowers, but also fast enough to cure within 24 hrs.
This resin is perfect for casting jewelry, trays, and coasters because it is a harder resin. It does cure more slowly, so the curing time will be longer than the Culture Cast.
I am loving KSRESIN and their Deep Pour Epoxy. It has a medium/thin viscosity and any micro bubbles rise to the surface easily. It cures fairly quickly within 24 hours.
I can't say enough amazing things about AajMolds - she is literally a game changer in the resin community thanks to her high quality molds. Check her out, she's got so many molds to offer!
It's not easy to find high-quality silicone molds that hold their shape and stay shiny for a long time, however, ModernMoldShop has done it! Easy to work with and to remove finished resin pieces.
Great high-quality mold by Moldi! Don't let the prices of HDPE molds scare you- they are beyond worth the money. Remember, your molds should be an investment!
This 4" mold is so sturdy and does not scratch easily. It may seem difficult to remove the block, but just pull the edges away and pour faucet water inside to pull the block away from the mold.
This is the brand that I use for my gold flakes. They have gold, rose gold/copper, and silver. a little goes a long way! I used 1 container for almost one year.
It's always good to have smaller mixing cups as well. You might not always be pouring large amounts of resin! Let the resin cure and pull out the cured resin to reuse the cup!
I LOVE this torch. Is it the highest quality torch on the market? No. But I love it because you can change the strength of the flame so you do not burn your flowers when you torch bubbles.
Great silica gel that is moisture indicating. It starts out as orange, and as it absorbs moisture it turns green. Reuse it by reactivating the crystals in the oven or microwave.
